Plant-based Meat Recipe


Let's take a look at how you can make tasty plant-based meat.

Ingredients


1 ½ cups of vital wheat gluten
1 cup of canned chickpeas, dried and drained
¼ cup of nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
¾ cup of vegetable stock
½ teaspoon of dried sage
½ teaspoon of dried thyme
¼ teaspoon of coriander powder
2 teaspoons of poultry seasoning
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard

Recipe:-

Add the ingredients to a food processor.

Put in the vegetable stock, nutritional yeast, chickpeas, thyme, sage, poultry seasoning, coriander powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and dijon mustard into the food processor.

Combine the ingredients for 1 minute.

Pulse the ingredients for a minute or until everything gets mixed properly. Also, make sure to scrape the side of the food processor in order to fully mix all of your ingredients. When you mix up the ingredients, transfer the mixture to another bowl with a spoon.

Add the wheat gluten.

Pur the glutens into the bow and then mix it vigorously with your hands. Mix it until the gluten is included and the mixture starts getting firm. Make sure that you don't overmix the glutens; as it will become chewy and not have the best taste.

Move the mix to a flat surface.

Put the 6 foiled-wrapped filets inside the steamer and steam the filets for 20 minutes. This will make the filets firm until then.

Pull the filets from the steamer.

Remove the filet from the steamer with the use of a set of tongs. The steamer will be hot, so make sure you use them safely.
